Here's the thinking behind the development of the PuttRail. PuttRail was developed by a non pro. A retired guy taking up golf later in life who just wanted to putt better. And it worked. I found that I can practice my putting all year round, day or night, rain or shine, wind, or snow. I definitely improved my stroke by taking hundreds/thousands of putts from the comfort of my own home. Whether it was in front of the TV in the rec room, out in the garage, or in my home office. I made it portable so I could move it anywhere. It doesn’t take up much room, so it fits almost anywhere. My wife banned it from the kitchen though. I just stand in one place and practice hundreds of putts of different distances. It has showed up on the course too. My lag putts have improved big time. That was my goal and believe me it worked.
I wanted something simple that I would actually use. Not like that unused treadmill or that weight set sitting around in the basement. Like many people nowadays I poured over the internet and checked out all the options out there that try and help all of us get better at our golf game. And there are thousands of instruction videos, training devices, advice columns, podcasts. Kind of daunting! Even retired who has the time?
My friends and other golfing partners have noticed how much better putter I am and have made comments. My usual response is well, I'm not the best putter in the world, but I am a lot better than I used to be. And you can be better also.
Do those other devices actually help? Well buy a PuttRail, keep using it and you will see this device DOES help you become a better putter.
